After a seemingly endless 3-yr tour of Abilene Texas, Uncle Sam has seen fit that I should leave this place...and go to Korea for a year. Kind of like taking your leg off at the knee for an ingrowing toenail. No wife and son for almost a year...not allowed to bring the bike with me...playing war games several times a year. But, hey, this is my big chance to get back to Aviano Air Base in Italy. I already spent 94-99 there, and fell in love with everything about it. Since I'll be able to take the bike there, this time I'll have the opportunity to ride the Alps!! Talk about winding roads!
